If you are interested in rock climbing Joshua Tree, our rock climbing classes, seminars and private rock climbing instruction are given by AMGA certified rock climbing guides who have dedicated their lives to teaching people how to climb. We can teach rock climbing techniques at every rating and ability level. In addition to Joshua Tree, we offer Southern California guided rock climbing and rock climbing instruction California in Idyllwild (Tahquitz rock), San Diego, (Mission Gorge) and Los Angeles (Stoney Point). We provide all rock climbing equipment and shoes.

Private Guiding
For the beginner or the advanced climber private instruction with a professional guide is the fastest way to safely meet your climbing goals.  Joshua Tree and Idylwild are filled with a wide range of beautiful classic climbs for any level of experience. Our AMGA certified guides will create a program to meet your needs.  Private guides are available for individuals or small groups up to five people.

Family and Group Rock Climbing
Being on the rocks, climbing with your family and friends is an incredible way to experience Joshua Tree National park. No matter what your outdoor or climbing experience is, we can tailor the day to meet everyone’s expectations.
Come out and give climbing a try. And don’t forget to bring the kids!
Groups of 10 or more: $75/person
Boy/Girl Scout & School Programs
Uprising Adventure guides are certified Merit Badge Counselors for Boys and Girls rock climbing merit badges and electives. Bring your troop out for a day of learning and adventure! Reservations and tour permits are required for all programs.
Prerequisite: Scouts have read the rock climbing merit badge requirements and have practiced three knots; figure eight/figure eight follow through, fisherman’s and water knot.
Guide-to-client ratio: 1:5 maximum
Cost:$90/merit badge (Minimum Group – 8 climbers)
$80/Recreational Climber (Minimum Group – 8 climbers)
