Thoughtful planning has gone into all of our pre-designed
tours…scenic routes, educational guides, and gourmet lunches; thus, we
highly recommend one of our Tours; however, we also realize that some of
you might want to “do-it-yourself”!
We take pride in our rental fleet...my grandfather used to
say, "You're only as good as your tools." So we've teamed
up with Specialized Bicycles, Trek Bicycles, and KHS to offer you great
quality, current year models for an enjoyable ride. Whether you are
a recreational rider or an avid cyclist with your own pedals, we have a
bike for you. Pick from road, road-hybrid, comfort, or mountain
bikes…we even have tandems!
Prices:
Mountain
Bikes and Road-Hybrids - $25 for two hours or $40/day
Road Bikes - $30 for two hours or $50/day
Tandems - $40 for two hours or $65/day
Child Trailer - $15/day (Please
note: child trailers are designed to carry no more than 100 pounds)
Trail-a-bike - $15/day
Car Racks – available free of charge, but
you are responsible for installation.
Prices include bike, helmet, lock, repair
kit, water bottle cage, handlebar bag, and detailed map of Napa.
Multi-day discounts: 3 days - 15% off; 4+
days - 20% off; 7+days - 30% off
Delivery:
We offer free
bicycle drop off and pick up to any hotel or B&B in Napa, Yountville,
Oakville, Rutherford, and St. Helena with the rental of 2 or more bicycles
for at least one day. We pickup and drop off between 8:30am - 10am
daily; reserve a bike by 8:00am for that day's delivery...request
"drop off" in the notes section of the reservation form.
Don't forget to tell us where you are staying!
Support:
We want to make
your cycling experience as pleasant as possible; we offer two forms of
support in case you need help:
1) FREE telephone support to talk you
through your problem whether it be mechanical or directional (you're lost)
2) FREE road-side assistance to fix the problem
for you.

Whether you select from one of our
pre-designed tours or ask us to design a custom tour to your
specifications, we’re ready when you are! We tour every day, 365 days a
year for your convenience.
Our standard, full-day bicycle tours are
designed for the tourist, not the cyclist. It’s a relaxing stroll
through the vineyards
enjoying the food and wine, so don’t worry about being fit enough to
make it. Our pre-designed tours are almost identical to each other;
the main difference lies in what region of the wine country you will
experience. Our ride, wine and dine tours are all truly amazing and
entice you to select multiple tours so that you may enjoy many regions of
the wine country. Each full-day tour covers approximately 20
miles stopping every 3-5 miles at a winery for 30 to 45 minutes.
After your visit, you’ll continue peddling with your tour guide as they
escort you another 3 - 5 miles to the next winery. At the second or
third winery, we'll have gourmet lunch catered for you overlooking the
vineyards. By the end of the day, you will have visited three to four
wineries. Again, the focus of the day is on enjoying the fragrances,
listening to the birds, soaking in the beautiful scenery, and of course,
sampling great wine and food!
We also offer several Multi-Sport Tours. Bike and
Kayak or Bike and Balloon options available. We can refer you to horseback
adventures as well.
If you are a cyclist with an itch to go
faster, don't worry, we have options for you too; join us every morning
for our Wine Country Club Ride when we just cycle! Starting with
fitting at 9:30am and biking at 10 am we cover 20-30 miles
in 90 minutes so you can be back in time to freshen up, and enjoy the
lunch and afternoon portion of the tour.

Tours. We understand that a wine country vacation is unlike any
other vacation. A wine country vacation is all about settling in,
relaxing, and enjoying the food and wine that has made our valley
famous…it’s all about a romantic adventure spending quality time
together with a loved one away from the daily grinds in life.
We took this into
consideration when designing our bicycling
vacation packages; thus, you are not required to live out of a suitcase
moving from hotel to hotel every day; nor do we have set dining schedules
making you eat with groups of people. It’s all about settling in
and focusing on each other...alone!
Stay
in the same place every night; unpack, relax, put your clothes in the
chest of drawers, organize your bathroom sundries, make yourself at home.
Your mornings and evenings are yours…dine when and where you want…by
yourselves. Benefit from a romantic dinner alone every evening
enjoying each other and meaningful conversations. Take a morning or
evening walk together; it is up to you.
Your
only scheduled activity is the group bicycle tour starting at 10am.
This daily bicycle tour is when you’ll have plenty of time to be with
others, meeting people from all over the country, and participating in
group activities. You’ll have a chance at meeting 2 to 10 other
people each day on the bicycle tour…possibly even different people
because we allow vacation packages to start any day; thus, overlapping
always occurs. We can offer you the luxury of starting your vacation
any day you desire; no other bicycle touring company can do this, but we
can. Our main office is in Napa Valley…we
work, live, dine, and cycle here and we’re the only bicycling company
that can say that!

- We go rain or shine - In the rare occurrence
that the weather doesn’t cooperate , we’ll be your “chauffer”
for the day. Our guides have several alternative activities to make
your vacation day a memorable one. Copia…Napa’s Food and Wine
museum, wine component seminars, wine glass making seminars, Cooperage
tours (wine barrel manufacturers), art galleries, or simply touring
the wineries are just some of the possibilities. Our guide will poll
the group and make every effort to accommodate all requests.
- Reservation Deposits: Bike tours require a
$25/person non-refundable deposit; Vacation Packages require a 50%
deposit (to reserve your accommodations) and is refundable based on
the third-party vendor’s cancellation policy. In the unlikely event
you must cancel, your non-refundable tour deposits will be applied to
future visits.
- Tour start times vary based on your
B&B’s breakfast schedule; however, plan on arriving at our shop
between 9:15am and 10:00am
- Tours typically end between 3:00pm to 5:00pm.
This is your day, so we don’t keep you on a tight schedule.
- The dress is casual year round. Cool mornings
and evenings make “layering” a smart choice for most activities in
the Napa Valley.
- Bicycle shorts are highly recommended;
however, we have gel seats available.
- Visa and Mastercard are accepted
